My wife (Teri) and I have been together for 6 years now and September 22nd marks our 3rd wedding anniversary. I\’ve never been good at surprises, let alone anniversaries.
But this year, I wanted to convey how much these 6 years have meant to me; to do something special this anniversary. Recently I\’ve been able to express myself well through this blog and wanted to dedicate this post to her, to us, and to the passions we share.
COVID was a very challenging time for both my wife and I, as it was for everyone, and I could not be more proud of her for what she\’s accomplished professionally and the commitment to our family.
She supported me and our children as I struggled with depression;
always thinking of others before herself.
She is the strongest women I have ever known and I want to spend the rest of my life with her.

When I was younger, I watched tons of romantic Anime wondering if I would ever find someone I would deeply care for.

I look back at my favorite series \”Saikano\” and find myself now at the same point in life when the creator Shin Takahashi created his Manga.
He wrote using the memories of his youth and the struggles he and his wife faced together.
His words on the last page of Volume 7 of the \”Saikano\” Manga mean a lot more for me now 15 years since I first read it.
\”Shuji and Chise are us.\”
In Teri I have found a woman who will inspire me to write stories as Shin Takahashi\’s wife inspired and supported him in creating \”Saikano\”.
A woman who has given me new meaning to life and to her, I owe everything.
